Star of the Week

Charles was finally chosen as Star of the Week.  He got to bring the class mascot, Kacey the Kangaroo, home for the weekend.  The next week he got to take special treats, bring Mom to read a story, and take show-and-tell.  They have a journal to fill out telling the class what Kasey did over the weekend.

Charles had been very upset every Thursday since returning from Christmas break.  For some reason it started to sink in that it hadn't been his turn. One week he left class sobbing.  Oh the trials of preschool...
