Charles is having his birthday party on Saturday so Wednesday night Russell's family arrived to spend a few days with ous and help celebrate Charles's birthday. Today we went to the Zoo. Too bad we got a late start and ended up being there in the heat of the day. Today is supposed to be cooler than yesterday and the coming week--98 degrees, but the heat index should put us anywhere between 103-105. We saw most everything (we skipped the Jungle, Australian Outback, Asian Farm, and the Chimps/Orangutans) and had a picnic lunch. We had some fowl guests while we were eating--geese and peacocks!
